Jake Franczek

Franczek joined the hockey staff as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in August of 2020. He works with both Men’s and Women’s Hockey at SCSU where he oversees the daily progress of the athletes. Prior to his time at SCSU, Jake was a Strength and Conditioning intern at the University of Minnesota working with Men’s and Women’s Hockey. While completing the internship he also worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Cretin-Derham Hall and Velocity Training Center. Jake has also worked as an assistant at the Detroit Red Wings development and pre-season camps.  
 
Franczek earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University. Jake has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA since 2020. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Sports Management.
